Third case of COVID-19 confirmed in Morris County

Morris County Judge Doug Reeder confirmed today that a third positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Morris County.
"Today, April 10, I was notified by the Department of State Health Services of a third positive case of COVID19 in Morris County," Judge Reeder said in a statement.
According to Judge Reeder, the third patient is in the same household as the first positive case of the virus in Morris County. Therefore, while this is the third positive case in Morris County, currently those three cases are confined to two locations.
"Public health authorities are working to identify any close contacts of the patients while they were sick so they can be isolated and monitored for symptoms and quickly tested, if needed," Judge Reeder said. In addition. "I have notified the proper local authorities so that they can take all necessary action to keep our citizens safe."
