DJH UIL recognizes district medalists

The Daingerfield Junior High UIL teams had a strong performance in the annual junior high UIL district competition, held in December. Five DJH teams brought home top two finishes overall. Daingerfield swept the team titles in chess with the sixth grade team of Danielle Allender, Chandler Key and Evelyn Ballesteros; the seventh grade team of Keylan Miller, Elijah George and Esteban Alejo and the eighth grade team of Jacob Bauer, Mauro Ballesteros and Jai Bonilla finishing first overall.
