With the recent announcement that the Texas Water Development Board will be conducting a feasibility study on the proposed Marvin Nichols Reservoir in the Sulphur River Basin of Northeast Texas, those opposed to the lake’s construction are now calling on landowners and the general public to voice their opinions on the project.

The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular October meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 31. All six members were present. The seventh seat on the board is currently vacant, as Dr. Dan McCauley retired from his position in September. McCauley was on the NTCC Board since 1988 and was the longest-serving trustee in the college’s history.
