Greer Farm open for your berry-picking pleasure
Daingerfield’s local berry patch, Greer Farm, is once again open for business. The berry farm opened to the public June 2. Greer Farm, located at 1444 County Road 1125 in Daingerfield, features self-pick, fresh blueberries and blackberries.

NTCC Board meets for regular May meeting
The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular May meeting on Tuesday, May 30th. The board voted to approve Russell East of Lone Star to fill the remainder of the term for Place Four. The position was vacated last month with the resignation of trustee Sid Greer.
Rundles, Bolton and Garnes win titles at NETX Miss Juneteenth Pageant
After a successful first go-around last year, the second annual Northeast Texas Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant was held Saturday at NTCC’s Whatley Center, where 14 “women of worth” vied for the titles in three categories: Miss, Junior Miss and Young Miss.
