First responders honored, recognized for selfless work
Local communities rely heavily on first responders. Whether it is local police and fire departments, or emergency medical professionals, almost everyone has been impacted by first responders in one way or another. On Oct. 25, Church on the Rock in Daingerfield gathered to honor and thank local first responders.
Cason Volunteer Fire Department receives $110,000 grant
Cason Volunteer Fire Department of Morris County received a $110,000 grant to purchase a large truck chassis and slipon unit to better serve its community. The grant was made possible through the Rural Volunteer Fire Department Assistance Program.
