Suspect in Brookshires bomb threat arrested

The person of interest in the bomb threat against Daingerfield Brookshire's this morning has been arrested.
Tron Covin Pate, 36 of Mount Pleasant area, was arrested approximately three hours after the threat was reported for Terroristic Threat Felony of 2nd Degree. Once at the jail, Pate intentionally coughed on an officer saying he had COVID-19 and he was subsequently charge with Terroristic Threat of a Peace Officer Felony of 3rd Degree. These charges were enhanced due to the disaster declaration.
Police were dispatched to Brookshire's at approximately 10:12 a.m. for the reported threat.
