Mobile COVID-19 testing coming to Morris County
Mobile testing is confirmed for Morris County. Testing will take place at the Daingerfield Fire Station on Monday, April 27th beginning at 9 am and ending at 5 pm, according to Morris County Judge Doug Reeder.
This will be a ONE DAY ONLY testing site. Below are important points about the testing from Judge Reeder.
There is no cost for the test at this drive thru site. Testing will be one day only and all tests will be scheduled in advance. Patients will be given appointments for their test.
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO BE TESTED. You will be turned away if you do not have an appointment.
To be eligible for the testing you must have one or more symptoms:
-fever and/or chills
-cough (dry or productive)
-fatigue
- body aches/muscle or joint pain
-shortness of breath
-sore throat
-headaches
-nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
-nasal congestion
-loss of taste or smell
Again, YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO BE TESTED. You will be turned away if you do not have an appointment.

Registration will only be available 48 hours before testing begins.
We have a 48 hour window to get the word out. We want to target those individuals that are most vulnerable and those individuals that are having symptoms.
