Brenda Fortune Vaughan

Funeral services for Ms. Brenda Fortune Vaughan, 82 of Hughes Springs, were held Wednesday, April 5 at Reeder- Davis Chapel. Burial to follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There was a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Ms. Vaughan was born December 14, 1940 to Cleve and Danie Daniel Fortune in Hughes Springs. She passed away March 30. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Phil Vaughan, Jason Vaughan, and Miranda Riddle.

She is survived by her children, Dana Gail Thomas and husband Price, and Kenneth Vaughan; grandchildren, Timothy Thomas and wife Christina, Jeremiah Thomas and wife Robin, Rhonda Reed, Micheal Reed, Christopher Vaughan, Brittany Vaughan, MaKayla Carpenter, Dustin Leftwich, and Chyanne Vaughan; brother, Joe Fortune and wife Joann; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
