REAGAN

LONGVIEW -- Billy Joe (B.J.) Reagan of Longview, formerly of Daingerfield, passed away Feb. 28 at Brookdale Nursing Center in Longview. He was born Feb. 21, 1928 in Breckenridge to Empsel and Evelyn Holt Reagan. B.J was an engineer for Southwest Electric Power Plant (SWEPCO) in Lone Star.

He and his wife, Mary Gayle bought an R.V. and traveled the United States, even up to Alaska, maintaining their home base in Daingerfield. B.J. retired after 35 years at SWEPCO around 1984 or so. He was a survivor of the New London gas explosion.

Billy Joe is survived by his son, Mike Reagan and wife, Patsy, grandchildren, Ryan Reagan, Sean Reagan and wife Stephanie, Jennifer Shankle and husband, David, Lee Ann Atwood and husband Billy, great grandchildren, Hunter, Drew, Kenneth, Ethan, Blake and Harper as well as a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brother, John H, Reagan of Troop, and sister, Kathleen Vick of Brownwood.
