WALKER

Services for Jimmy D. Walker, 86 of Daingerfield, were held Aug. 4 at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Bro. Mark Young and Bro. Randy Seybert officiating. Burial was in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born on April 1, 1934 in Dallas to Lester Lee and Minnie Lucille Walker. He died on Friday, July 31.

Jimmy was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ and a Master Mason of the Masonic Lodge.

He retired from Lone Star Steel as an electrician. Jimmy also was a service manager for Mains Environmental in Detroit, Mich. and also served as a volunteer fireman for the City of Daingerfield for many years.

Survived by his wife Bobbie Walker of Daingerfield; son Marty Walker and wife Leanna of Daingerfield; granddaughter Shana Martin and husband Jason of Mount Pleasant; granddaughter Lauren Walker and fiancé Massimo Castiglione of Gilmer; great grandchildren Kayleigh Martin of Mount Pleasant, Tenley Martin of Mount Pleasant, Lia Sage Castiglione of Gilmer; brother Jerry Walker and wife Waldine of Pittsburg; several nieces and nephews.
