A joint memorial service for James Marshall Jacobs and Lillie Faye (Long) Jacobs will be held at Church on the Rock in Daingerfield, at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15. They are survived by their daughters, Lisa Coleman and Sandy Scott, son-in-law Joey Scott, five grandchildren and nine great-grand children. Faye was born to Deward F. and Dollie Mae Long of Daingerfield on May 16, 1934 and passed away on Nov. 4, 2021 at 87 years old. James was born to Frank Cole and Gorda Lou Jacobs of Daingerfield on Oct. 7, 1932 and passed away on Dec. 11, 2021 at 89 years old.
Tony Mack Smith, 67 of Hughes Springs, passed away Dec. 28, 2021. Mr. Smith was born Nov. 11, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Mack E. Smith and Wynell Currey Smith Steely. Tony was a member of Jenkins United Methodist Church.
