Jimmy “ Jim” Edmondson of Longview passed away on November 30, 2023. Jim was born on September 1, 1941, to Irvin and Dora Edmondson in Perryville, Arkansas. Jim graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1960 and attended Kilgore College.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sandra Kay Smoak, 80, of Ore City will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield. Burial will follow in Our Lady in the Pines Cemetery.
Veronica Vasquez-Folmar, 38 years old of Daingerfield, TX passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Christus Mother Francis Hospital surrounded by family. Veronica was born on September 17, 1985 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her and her immediate family moved to Lone Star, TX in 1988 and she graduated at Daingerfield High School in 2004. She was the youngest of 3 children and cherished her relationships with her big brother and sister, Ruben and Imelda. She met the love of her life, Jason Folmar, in 2003, and got married on October 8th, 2005. They welcomed their pride and joy, Isabel Marie Folmar into this world together on July 14, 2007.
