Phillip Edward Jeremiah

Phillip Edward Jeremiah

Phillip Edward Jeremiah stepped up to the pearly gates of Heaven on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022, at the age of 61. He was born on January 30th, 1961 in Orange, CA. Preceded in death by Raymond and Shirley (Berry) Jeremiah, his father and mother. Prior to moving to northeast Texas, Mr. Jeremiah lived his mid years out of Clovis, CA. Before that, he grew up in southern California in Santa Ana, where he met his future wife and mother of his children. Phil worked as a union plumber for over 31 years at the UA Local 246 in Fresno, CA. He was a dedicated man who enjoyed his work. He also worked for the Daingerfield- Lone Star ISD school district in the maintenance department and also as a school bus driver. Phil was an artist, like his mother. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, covering a wide variety of genres. His strong suit was in humor and math, as he was quick-witted and funny. Phil will always be remembered by his character: strong, smart, giving, grateful, he was a man of God. Phil would take the shirt off his back to help a stranger and give his pocket to help a friend in need. He learned how to become a great father and an even better grandfather. Mr. Jeremiah is survived by the love of his life, Robin Jeremiah, his wife of 41 years. Together they had three children: Amanda, Sarah, and Matthew Jeremiah; with Amanda and Sarah providing 5 grandchildren: Jaden, Ryleigh, Jasper, Ryder, and Ryver. Phillip has two brothers and two sisters, all with their respective wives and husbands as well as many children and grandchildren, his nieces, and nephews. Phil donated his body to science upon death, still helping others even after he has gone; he will be cremated, and his ashes will be shed as he wished. He never let anything hold him back, he proved to be a true fighter, surviving cancer and multiple heart attacks, He fought for his marriage, his offspring, and had a Big Love for life itself.
