Known for being tough as nails with a heart of gold, Mary Ann lived her life with unparalleled passion and an adventurous spirit.
Tim Nix from Beaumont, Texas passed away on August 6 in a Houston hospital at the age of eighty years old from brain cancer. Tim grew up in Jenkins and graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1961. He was a member of the Daingerfield Tiger football team and played basketball. He also attended South Union Missionary Baptist Church. After graduation Tim was on the professional bowling tour for several years where he won many tournaments that were broadcasted live on television. In his later years, he became an avid pool player where he also received many awards.
