Stargazer and Project Manager, Louis Nicholas Kachnik passed away on April 8th, 2024 moments after watching the total solar eclipse on his porch with family. Lou had been waiting for this event for years, and invited everyone to share in his love of astrological events and the hospitality of Lone Star, Texas. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early February of 2024. Lou’s battle with cancer was short, but dignified.
