I’m a pretty good actress. I’ve always been able to make people believe I know what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, with all the confidence I can muster together. Truth be told, though, I’m often faced with not knowing what to do. Maybe it’s my Type A personality talking.

With Thanksgiving this week, it’s a good time to look at the things we’re thankful for in our lives. We have much for which to be thankful, and I’d like to share a few of my own.

A sweeping border security bill that allows state and local police to arrest undocumented migrants is headed to Gov. Greg Abbot’s desk, The Dallas Morning News reported. The bill also allows state district judges to order those migrants be returned to Mexico.
