Fickling signs with Trinity Valley
Hughes Springs Lady Mustang Shelbie Fickling signed a national letter of intent on May 1 to play softball with Trinity Valley Community College. Fickling was joined by her family: brother Logan, parents Billy ans Shelli, and Hughes Springs coaches Tisha Thompson, Wayne Moseley, and April Brashears.

Mustangs bow out after first round loss to White Oak
The Hughes Springs Mustangs baseball team saw their season come to an end this past week, losing a series to the White Oak Roughnecks dropping two games 2-1 and 8-4.
Lady Mustangs drop Redwater, set to face White Oak
The Lady Mustangs dispatched the Redwater Lady Dragons in two games to set up a series with the White Oak Lady Roughnecks, who defeated the Hooks Lady.
