Local student-athletes earn Academic All-State nods

Student-athletes are charged with not only doing their best on the field, but also must maintain high standards in the classroom as well. Four local student-athletes recently earned Academic All-State honors for their work on the field and in the classroom. The award is presented by the Texas High School Coaches Association and is sponsored by the Texas Army National Guard.
