A new council woman is helping to guide the City of Lone Star. Lesa Beards was sworn in during a Lone Star city council meeting on Thursday, January 16, by City Secretary Kyle Harrison.

On Wednesday, January 22, the Daingerfield Public Library invited kids from all around the city and county to join them and learn about sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics– otherwise known as S.T.E.M. Dozens of youths showed up and the Library said in a public social media post, “When our Thursday S.T.E.M. program has us busting at the seams!!! It was so great to see everyone, and we had a great event!!!!”
At the Daingerfield Annex Building on Saturday, January 25, the Daingerfield Fire Department– along with family and friends– gathered to recognize and celebrate several firefighters on the team.
A brand new digital sign can be seen next to the Sonic in Daingerfield, flashing any valuable information for Daingerfield residents.
