Avinger Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes Dollar General to their downtown. Store manager, Chris Jones, said the store opened on February 13th. Mr. Jones has thirteen years with Dollar General while his assistant, Susan Nelson, has twenty five years. Employee Vikki Greenhill will have nine years with the company in July. Very impressive record for this company. Chris Jones said they are very happy to be in Avinger and look forward to serving the community. Avinger is very excited to have them.
