NTCC Art department hosts exhibit by Michelle Dvorak

The Northeast Texas Community College Visual Arts program has opened its first art exhibit of the academic year in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The show, which runs September 10–24, features the work of mixed media and abstract artist Michelle Dvorak. The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular business hours.

The Northeast Texas Community College Vet Assistant program recently celebrated its second graduating class on Thursday, August 28th, 2025. Fourteen new students recently graduated from the program (not listed as shown in photo): Gavin Atkinson, Naomi Cole, Abby Creveling, Cale DeLisi, Madilynn Dunn, Vanessa Guerrero, April Lofton, Natalie Lopez, Judith Lowe, Yaritza Mendez Duran, Natalia Nava, Blaze Price, Violet Ramirez and Audrie Wright.

Whatley Center kicks off season with RokDox concert Sept. 13

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts is excited to open its new season with a Sounds of Northeast concert featuring RokDox, an electrifying classic rock horn band, on Saturday, September 13th, at 7:30 p.m. This high-energy show will showcase iconic hits and dynamic performances from this talented group of musicians. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students.
