Psi Beta holds spring 2026 induction ceremony
Psi Beta National Honor Society held its 2026 Spring Induction on April 2, marking its 39th year of continuous student involvement at NTCC. Hailey Petrosino of Kingwood TX was inducted in a candlelight ceremony. Asia Bayoud, guest speaker from East Texas A&M University, presented her original research titled “The Illusions of Memory”.
Annual McGraw Hill Poster Contest planned for May 8th
The Eighteenth Annual McGraw-Hill Poster Contest is set for Friday, May 8th at 9:30 a.m. in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College. This contest recognizes and rewards creative student scholarship in Northeast Texas. Area high school seniors, college and university students are welcome to compete. Prizes range from $100 for fourth place to $400 for first place. Community judges will determine a project’s contribution to scholarship, the persuasiveness of its author, and the quality of the overall presentation. The student posters must reflect new and original research, performed in this past year of 2025-26.
NTCC renews transfer partnership with East Texas A&M University
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) welcomed leadership from East Texas A&M University to campus this week for the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reinforcing a shared commitment to student success and workforce readiness.
