Eight graduate from Process Welding Academy

Northeast Texas Community College and Diamond C Trailers celebrated the graduation of the third class of the Process Welding Academy on Monday, Dec. 16th at Diamond C headquarters. Eight students completed the eight-week, 12-credit hour program that teaches the processes and techniques needed to start a career as a production welder. Search for next NTCC president begins Jan. 6

Northeast Texas Community College will soon begin the search for its sixth president. Board Chairman Chuck Johns announced at the December meeting of the Board of Trustees that the search will be conducted in-house by the NTCC Human Resources department. The role will be posted, and applications accepted beginning January 6, 2025.

College closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 3 for holidays

Northeast Texas Community College will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays from Monday, Dec. 23rd through Friday, Jan. 3rd. Offices will resume normal business hours on Monday, Jan. 6th.

Santa makes stop in Lone Star

The Lone Star volunteer fire department set up in the Lone Star Shopping Center last week taking Christmas donations for children who are less fortunate. Santa and the Grinch made an appearance on Friday as well.
