During the weekend of April 26, the annual Wildflower Trails took place in Hughes Springs. There was plenty of food, shopping, rides, family entertainment, and— of course— wildflowers.
She had a dozen fresh eggs—straight from her chickens—ready to bless some of our homeless friends. She’d gone downtown with a heart full of love and a carton packed with breakfast, but the delivery didn’t quite go as planned.
The NTCC Foundation is excited to announce that Taste of NTCC: Battle of the Booths is back by popular demand! In celebration of East Texas Giving Day, the event will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, in the Student Union Building (SUB) from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The NTCC campus and general public are all invited to participate!
House Bill 2109, authored by House District 1 Representative Gary VanDeaver, was heard in the House Natural Resources Committee last week, with many from Northeast Texas making the trek to Austin and waiting all day for their turn at the podium to voice their opinion. Hundreds of Northeast Texans have also submitted written public comment on HB 2109.
