Not many people reach the age of 91, much less working as a mayor at that age. But Jim C. Samples is no ordinary man. He’s been the Mayor of Hughes Springs for seven years and worked tirelessly in local government for over three decades.
The NTCC Work4College Program celebrated the end of summer with its annual appreciation luncheon on Wednesday, July 31st. Work4College donors, supervisors, students and their families attended the event in the Student Union Building. This is the 10th year of the program, and more than 85 students participated.
