A Daingerfield man was arrested following a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian on Feb. 17. At approximately 8:19 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Broadnax Street and Webb Street.
Members of the Daingerfield FFA Agricultural Mechanics Show Team traveled to San Angelo, Texas, Feb. 5-7, 2026, to compete in the San Angelo Livestock Show Agricultural Mechanics Contest, where they showcased their skills, craftsmanship, and dedication to agricultural education. The team had an outstanding showing, earning blue ribbons across all projects.
Members of the Daingerfield FFA Chapter recently attended the Daingerfield District FFA Convention, where they took part in leadership activities, voting sessions and officer elections while representing their chapter with pride.
Effective Feb. 4, 2026, the Northeast Texas Community College RN and VN Nursing Programs have been granted candidacy status for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The candidacy is valid through Spring 2028. This marks the first time in NTCC history that the college’s nursing programs have achieved candidate status.
Dr. Anna Ingram, Vice President of Instruction at Northeast Texas Community College, has been named a recipient of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Distinguished College Administrator Award. Dr. Ingram will be recognized during PTK Catalyst, Phi Theta Kappa’s annual international convention.
