The National FFA Organization awarded Daingerfield FFA member and DHS senior Salvador Velasquez the four-year FFA Future Leaders Scholarship sponsored by Tractor Supply Company valued at $10,000. Mr. Velasquez plans to use the funds to pursue a degree in pre-veterinary medicine at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
