According to the National weather Service in Shreveport, La., last week’s historic winter storm dropped between two and 20 inches of snow throughout their reporting area, which covers Northeast Texas, Southeastern Arkansas, and Northeastern Louisiana. This includes an approximate accumulation of 10-14 inches in the Steel Country area.
The week of Feb. 15, 2021 will surely go down as a historic time for those living in the East Texas area. Between record low temperatures and record snowfall, these are the types of stories that will be passed along for generations.
A Naples man has been arrested in connection to a series of rapes reported to have occurred in Ogden, Kan. from 2004 to 2012. On Nov. 11, 2020, officers filed a report for several past rape and aggravated criminal sodomy offenses in Ogden, listing a now 21-year-old female as the victim and a now 46-year-old male known to her as the suspect.
