The Holiday Season typically begins with festivals and gatherings that feature holiday shopping from vendors of all sorts. Due to current health concerns from the COVID-19 virus, many of those small town gatherings were cancelled or scaled way back. That was not the case for Daingerfield’s Holidays on the Square, which was held Nov. 21 in downtown Daingerfield.

Students at Daingerfield Junior High School, as well as both of the district’s elementary schools, will all return to the classroom after the Thanksgiving break, as the district’s Board of Trustees voted Nov. 16 to cease online/remote learning.
