Out of an abundance of caution, Northeast Texas Community College has cancelled Scare Affair 2020 The college’s annual Halloween carnival is a popular family event that is usually held in late October. However, due to COVID-19 concerns, the difficult decision was made to cancel this year’s event.
If you’re concerned, of course call the doctor, but there’s probably not a reason to panic.

Pastors, residents, and more gathered Sept. 26 for the first Prayer Walk. The group hopes that the event will become an annual activity to lift the city in prayer and to prayer for local, state, and government needs.
