FORT WORTH – Hughes Springs FFA member Darcy Humphrey captured First in Showmanship 8-13 Years in the Junior Wether Goat Show at the 2020 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo on January 27. The 2020 Show is hosting junior exhibitors from across Texas competing for awards and $24,060 in Junior Wether Goat Show premiums.
The Daingerfield High School Math/Science team competed in a virtual competition Jan. 24. The team competed against more than 700 students across the state from 1A to 6A. A virtual meet is a competition that takes place state wide over a period of time. Awards were given for the top 100 finishers.
The federal government requires many students who submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to verify the information included on the FAFSA. The students requiring verification are chosen by the U.S. Department of Education.
