A group from the Omaha Volunteer Fire Department traveled to Comfort,Texas to assist the Comfort VFD with a ground crew. Comfort is a small town, just 17 miles southeast of Kerrville, and were also heavily affected by the recent floods.
On Wednesday, July 9, the Daingerfield Public Library held the annual Toucha- Truck. There were plenty of loud sirens and young ‘drivers’ who had the chance to have hands-on experience with big trucks.
Students in the NTCC Work4College Program participated in the Money Matters financial literacy simulation fair this Thursday in the Student Union Building. The event, sponsored by Texas Heritage National Bank, is an exciting, interactive exercise to help students learn more about managing their personal finances.
