Johneice Broussard passed away on September 15, 2022 in Daingerfield, Texas. She was born in Jenkins, Texas to the late Johnie Finley and Thelma Nix Finley Parker. After graduating from Daingerfield High School as Valedictorian of the class of 1950, she left for Dallas to attend the Baker Business School where she also became a teacher. While in Dallas, she met Roy Broussard and married him on December 19, 1953 and was married to him 62 years until his death in 2016. After marriage, they moved to Daingerfield and joined First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. Later in life she went to college where she graduated from East Texas State University – Texarkana with a 4.0 average. She taught school over 20 years in Daingerfield until retirement. She was a member of the 20th Century Club. She loved her church and her family and liked playing the piano, baking and decorating cakes, sewing, working in her yard, putting up produce for the winter, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Funeral services for Brian Christopher Reynaud, 50, of Hughes Springs, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at First Baptist Church, Hughes Springs. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
Margaret Pippin was born on Dec. 19, 1934, in Monroe Wisconsin. She entered the arms and presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 10, 2022. Margaret was the 3rd daughter born to her parents, Louis and Clara Stucki. Louis and Clara came as immigrants to America in 1924 and 1926. They met in the United States and were married in Monroe, Wis. in 1930. Her dad was a cheese maker in Wisconsin. Margaret was very proud of her heritage.
