Bobby Harrell, 89, of Daingerfield, Texas was born September 30, 1933 in Morris County, Texas to Roy Harrell and Artis Ramsey Harrell. He passed away and went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2022.
Brenda Gayle Lloyd Trejo, 74, a resident of Lone Star, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her home.
Sam (Langley) was born Dec. 2, 1941 in Pittsburg to Samuel Langley Dale Jr. and Dora Mae White Dale. Sam was the eldest with four brothers and two sisters. The family raised their own vegetables and livestock. Sam attended Daingerfield schools and played football as a Daingerfield Tiger, #77, earning the nickname “ Thunderfoot.” He worked at LaTourneau Steel before and after serving four years in the US Navy. In the Navy he was stationed at Key West, Florida and trained as an aircraft electrician.
Homer Keasler ‘Mike’ Jenkins was born June 3, 1939 in Cass County, to Vance Keasler and Ermentru Pratt Jenkins. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 16, in his home surrounded by family. Mike graduated from Hughes Springs High School in 1957. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from Texas Tech University in 1962 and a master’s degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University in 1979.
