Richard Wayne Sheridan was born in Lone Star, on Sept. 15, 1962, and passed away in Spring, Texas on Nov. 8. He was born to AJ and Betty Sheridan, and graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1981. In 1986, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rice University. Rick was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Rice baseball fan.
Betty S. Marti, 87, of Longview, Texas, previously of Ore City, passed away peacefully at her home on October 31, 2021. Mrs. Marti was born February 7, 1934 in Henderson, Texas to Monnie T. Conley and Mattie M. May Conley.
Services for Joan Lyons will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Reynolds Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Lyons will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
