A memorial service for Dr. Samuel Boyd Holder, 83 of Sonora, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Linden, with internment will be in the Bogata Cemetery. Dr. Holder died Sept. 4. Sam born on April 15, 1938.

Services for Catherine Marie Cox Watson, 63 of Red Hill, were held Sept. 11 at the Linden United Methodist Church with Bro. Perry Hart officiating. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Watson passed away Sept. 8.

Funeral service for James Barnett, 79 of Sulphur Springs, were held Sept. 11, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Larry Ball officiating. Interment followed at Sherley Cemetery with Justin Kendell, Kyle Kendell, Tanner Clifton, Cash Conley, Dylan El Chami, Zach Lewis and Matthew Fewell serving as pallbearers and Kenny, Jim Hood and Don Gregson serving as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Barnett passed away on September 6, 2021 at his residence.
