Services for Billy Bob Powell, 87 of Linden, were held Tuesday, May 23, at Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Mr. Powell was born November 4, 1935 and passed away May 19.

Danny Steven Welch, 49 of Hughes Springs, was born in Linden on February 22, 1974. He passed away May 11 at his home. Danny had Muscular Dystrophy but that did not stop him from fishing and camping. He also had speech problems, but he loved talking with family, friends and strangers. Danny’s love of all things Elvis was known to everyone he knew. He had a wide collection of magazines, books, vinyl records, cups, clocks. Danny also loved watching football, and he always had a special place for the Hughes Springs Mustangs. He was brought up in a strong Christian family by his grandfather, Sammie Welch.
Graveside services for Ms. Carrie Mason, 89 of Ore City, were held Friday, May 12 at Mims Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.
