Last week, just about everyone in our area watched as the stacks came down in one big heap out at once was Monticello. The plant that was once the harbinger of great things in Titus County and the surrounding counties is no longer. To so many the implosion was a sad day. It was the end of days where so many were employed, jobs were created and the community flourished. I have been told that it could signal the days of a drastic decline.
