I saw a post on social media yesterday that drew my ire. It was a simple post, and all it said was to post the name of people you knew who had actually had, or died from, Covid-19. I refrained from responding because the subject is such a debatable one and didn’t see the need to get into a pointless debate on Fakebook. But then today, my thoughts on the matter have changed, so here we go.

There has been a lot of buzz this spring and summer about the new Constitutional Carry bill that was signed into law by Governor Abbott. The bill is set to go into effect September 1st 2021. I have spoken to many people about this legislation. This new law is not the magic bullet so many think it is. So what I would like to do is clarify the difference between Constitutional Carry and the current License to Carry.

The Texas Workforce Commission released June employment figures that showed Texas employers added nearly 56,000 jobs in June, while the unemployment rate dropped to 6.5%.
