The Hughes Springs Mustangs continue to look for their first win, after falling to Harmony in the district opener for both teams on Sept. 23. Both teams came into the game looking for win number one on the season, and that win went to Harmony.
The Daingerfield Tigers may not have had a game on the schedule last week, but that does not mean the Head Coach Devin Nelson and the Tigers sat idly by for a week. Instead, the Tigers used the bye week to get healthy and prepare for their upcoming district schedule.
The Pewitt Lady Brahmas have battled in the first half of the district slate. With one match to go before the second round of district begins, the Lady Brahmas sit in fourth place behind Atlanta, New Boston and Hooks – the three teams to defeat them in loop play thus far. New Boston and Atlanta played Tuesday for sole possession of first place; the Lady Brahmas will return to the court Friday at Redwater.
