Tigers, Mustangs split two games

The Hughes Springs Mustangs and Daingerfield Tigers faced off for their first of two district matchups on the diamond on April 11 in Daingerfield. The Tigers jumped on Mustang starter Trenton Pemberton for six runs in the first inning enroute to a 6-3 win. The two teams met again April 14 in Hughes Springs. In the sequel, played at Hughes Springs, the Mustangs flipped the script for a 7-2 victory.
