Mustangs shutout to end season against Newton

They say all good things must come to an end, and the saying was true for the Hughes Springs Mustangs on Nov. 11. The Mustangs (3-8, 3-3, 0-1) fell to the Newton Eagles (10-0, 6-0, 1-0) in the Bi-District round of the playoff on Nov. 11, 58-0. The Mustangs had gone 3-3 in district play to make the playoffs as the District 11 fourth seed.
