The Northeast Texas Community College Eagle Rodeo team had three members qualify in the Team Roping event for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming and competed June 15 to June 21, 2025.
The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees held its regular meeting on Tuesday, June 24. This marked the first meeting under the leadership of NTCC’s sixth president, Dr. Kevin Rose. The following is a summary of reports given and action that was taken at the June meeting:
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is now enrolling students in its new GED NOW program— a free, accelerated 6-week course designed to help adult learners quickly earn their GED and transition to college or a career pathway.
The Dollar General Literacy Foundation (DGLF) recently awarded Northeast Texas Community College Adult Education and Literacy Program (NTCC AEL) a $10,000 grant to support adult literacy. The funds are a part of a record-setting, one-day donation in the Foundation’s history of more than $13.2 million to support adult, family, and summer literacy programs in the 48 states in which Dollar General operates.
