The Daingerfield Tigers swept Jefferson last week to clinch third place in District 13-3A and will open up the playoffs against state-ranked Liberty-Eylau at a site and date to be determined. Coach Jermaine Mitchell’s Tigers finish league play at 6-4 and are 15-7 overall.
The Daingerfield Lady Tiger softball team concluded its 2025 campaign with a 6-4 win over visiting Jefferson back on Tuesday, Apr. 11. Coach Shawn Freeman’s squad finishes at 3-7 in District 13-3A and 7-11-1 overall.
The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team make the trip to Wharton, Texas this weekend to compete in the 9th National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region Rodeo and the Team Ropers had a great weekend.
Each spring, the Texas Junior College Agriculture Association (TJCAA) hosts one of the most anticipated events of the year for community college ag students across the state. This year’s conference and competition, held April 2–4 at Texas A&M University– Kingsville, was no exception— and Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) was proud to be well represented by an incredible group of students who brought their passion, knowledge, and teamwork to South Texas.
