The Daingerfield Lady Tigers visited Hughes Springs back on Tuesday, April 1 and dropped a 10-0 decision to the Lady Mustangs. The loss dropped Daingerfield to 1-5 in District 13-3A softball play and 5-9-1 while Hughes Springs improved to 6-0 in league play and 18-3 overall.
The Daingerfield Tigers pulled out a 1-0 win over visiting Chapel Hill back on Tuesday, April 1 to improve to 3-2 in District 13-3A and 12-5 overall. With the loss, the Red Devils fell to 1-4 in league play and 2-13 overall.
Due to the severe weather that happened during the weekend of April 5, the Northeast Texas Writers’ Organization (NETWO) chose to cancel their romance workshop. They plan to reschedule it for a day in the near future.
The Daingerfield Tigers earned a split with Harmony last week, blasting the Eagles 15-4 on Tuesday, March 25 but falling to the Eagles 2-0 on Saturday, March 29. The split puts Coach Jermaine Mitchell’s ball club at 2-2 in District 13-3A and 11-5 overall.
