Multiple law agencies involved in narcotics arrest
On Monday, June 2, the Daingerfield Police Department and Morris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call, leading to discovery of narcotics and arresting the man in possession of it.
Lone Star PD, Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrest man for methamphetamines and stolen property
On May 31, a man was arrested after the Lone Star Police Department and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant out his house, finding several pipes with methamphetamine residue, packaging materials, a scale, and other products used to cut and distribute methamphetamine.
Biology students continue groundbreaking fish parasite research
Two NTCC Biology 2289 students, Gracie Gray and Stephanie Hernandez, and Dr. Chris T. McAllister, Natural Science Division, traveled to the Ouachita Mountains Biological Station (OMBS), Big Fork, Arkansas, May 25-30, 2025, to continue their research on fish parasites from the Ouachita River watershed.
