Sam Guzman photography exhibit comes to Whatley for February

Northeast Texas Community College welcomes Photographer Sam Guzman as the exhibiting artist for February. His work will be on display from Friday, February 7th through Wednesday, February 26th. A reception will be held on Wednesday, February 12th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.Sam Guzman was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, TX. He is married to Stephanie Guzman, and together they have four children: Jude, Jade, Jubilee, and Juno.

Dr. Ron Clinton receives Lifetime Achievement Award at Mount Pleasant-Titus County Chamber banquet

Northeast Texas Community College would like to congratulate President Dr. Ron Clinton for receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Mount Pleasant-Titus County Chamber of Commerce banquet on Thursday, Jan. 23rd. Board of Trustees holds January meeting, elects new officers

The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees began its first meeting of the year on a somber note this Tuesday, Jan. 28th. Dr. Ron Clinton, NTCC President, called for a moment of silence before the meeting to acknowledge Chuck Johns, Chairman of the Board, who passed away unexpectedly on January 16th along with his wife, Sarah.

Kids learn about S.T.E.M. at Daingerfield Library

On Wednesday, January 22, the Daingerfield Public Library invited kids from all around the city and county to join them and learn about sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics– otherwise known as S.T.E.M. Dozens of youths showed up and the Library said in a public social media post, “When our Thursday S.T.E.M. program has us busting at the seams!!! It was so great to see everyone, and we had a great event!!!!”
