Northeast Texas Community College would like to congratulate President Dr. Ron Clinton for receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Mount Pleasant-Titus County Chamber of Commerce banquet on Thursday, Jan. 23rd. Below is the introduction/ biography that was featured during the award ceremony. We are so thrilled that Dr. Clinton was chosen for this well-deserved honor!

There I was, parked in my car during street ministry, my windows slightly fogged from the contrast of the cold outside and the heater blowing inside. My supplies included socks, hand warmers, lip balm, blankets, and a stash of encouragement. My goal was simple: to connect with those who needed a little hope.

The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees began its first meeting of the year on a somber note this Tuesday, Jan. 28th. Dr. Ron Clinton, NTCC President, called for a moment of silence before the meeting to acknowledge Chuck Johns, Chairman of the Board, who passed away unexpectedly on January 16th along with his wife, Sarah.
