The Psi Beta psychology honor society at Northeast Texas Community College will host a 5K Run/ Walk/Crawl for Suicide Prevention Awareness with the aid of Active Minds this spring to bring attention to the importance of mental health and suicide prevention.
Several Northeast Texas Community College faculty attended the 79th Annual TCCTA Convention in Frisco, Texas, joining community college educators, staff, and leaders from across the state. Attendees included Dr. Melissa Fulgham, Matt Homer, Mandy Smith, Dr. Jackie Johnston, Cassidy Jacobs- Stiger and Dr. Doug Richey, who participated in three days of professional learning, collaboration, and statewide engagement focused on shaping the future of Texas community colleges.
The NTCC Art Department is excited to host the Mount Pleasant Art Society Annual Membership Show from March 5–25 in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. This competitive exhibit showcases a variety of artwork by talented local artists in multiple media.
