Free entrance to Texas State Parks Nov. 14 in honor of Veterans Day

The Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD invites all Veterans and their guest to attend our Veterans Day Program, 2021, “Honoring All Who Served”, at 9:30, Thursday, November 11 in the Daingerfield High School Auditorium. There will be a luncheon sponsored by the Daingerfield High School Student Council immediately following in the Jesse Hanson Gymnasium located beside the auditorium in your honor. The program this year will be live streamed from the Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD Facebook page for those who would like to view it from there. Thank you for allowing us to honor you!
The Daingerfield Chamber of Commerce Holidays on the Square event is quickly approaching. Slated for Nov. 20, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the event will offer fun and great prices.
Titus County Sheriff ’s Office is seeking information regarding the location of fugitive Roger Dale Fincher.
Camp County Sheriff John Cortelyou was notified of an apparent homicide on Nov. 6 just before noon. The deceased is Makayla Goodson, 21, a Camp County resident who was initially discovered by her boyfriend. Ms. Goodson had been shot several times.
