Voters in Morris County and across the state went to the polls Nov. 2. Three local races were decided in Morris County, and eight constitutional amendments were also on the ballots.
The Pilot Club of Mt. Pleasant recently donated blankets to CASA (court appointed special advocate). Here receiving the blankets are Leeann Ramirez, Ashley Roberston, and Emily Myrow, CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties representatives. CASA is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide trained volunteer advocates for abused or neglected children involved in the legal systems in Texas, with the goal of achieving a permanent living arrangement for each child which will serve that child’s best interest. The Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD invites all Veterans and their guest to attend our Veterans Day Program, 2021, “Honoring All Who Served”, at 9:30, Thursday, November 11 in the Daingerfield High School Auditorium. There will be a luncheon sponsored by the Daingerfield High School Student Council immediately following in the Jesse Hanson Gymnasium located beside the auditorium in your honor.
