The railroad overpass on W.M. Watson Boulevard in Daingerfield claimed another victim Feb.11.A tractor-trailer rig misjudged the height of the overpass and struck it with his load. The Daingerfield City Council met in their regular meeting Feb. 8 with all council members except Jesse Ayers in attendance. Outgoing City Manager Rocky Thomasson, whose retirement was announced in January, was also in attendance. Thomasson is currently finishing out his duties while the city works to hire his successor.
